West Chazy Tanker 336 Driven by
Firefighters Jason Goodspeed and
Dave Dominy participated in the
Chazy Annual Memorial Parade.
The Parade, which is
held annually in Chazy NY, is an
opportunity for hundreds of
patriotic Americans to come together
and honor those who have sacrificed
so much in service to our country.

— Volunteers
from the West Chazy Fire Department
responded to the Ashley Farm on the Ashley
Road in West Chazy Friday morning. Upon
arrival a front end loader was fully
engulfed by flames. Pictured are
firefighters John Thew, First Assistant
Chief Jim Garrant, and Chief Dave Lucia.

The West Chazy Fire Dept provided coverage for
the Airborne Speedway Sat night. Shown
on top of 331 from left to right are
firefighters Rick Morrsion, John Thew and
Jason Goodspeed. Not pictured is Todd Nephew.
Mike Bruno won the Modified Division, Robin
Wood the Sportsmen Division, Lonnie Rivers,
the Renegades, Justin Doner the MIni
Mods and Cody Meyers the Bomber Division.

Sunday May 10th, 2009
West Chazy, NY
-- West Chazy Volunteers responded to
a reported structure fire across 7493 Route 22
Sunday night. Upon arrival flames were seen
shooting out of a basement window. Chief Lucia
used 2 dry chemical extinguishers to control
the flames until the first unit arrived on
scene. West Chazy Units 331, 332,334,
and 336 were on scene until approx 11:00 pm
while investigators determined the cause and
origin. West Chazy received mutual aid from
Beekmantown, Chazy and Mooers at the scene.
Champlain, District 3, Altona and Cumberland
Head fire depts. were toned out to stand by.
