The West Chazy Fire Department would like to
congratulate firefighter Rick Morrison and his wife
Kelly Morrison (WCFD Auxiliary President) with the
new addition to their family. Alexis May Morrison
came into the world weighing in at 7lbs 8oz. Both
mom and Alexis are doing great.

West Chazy firefighters were called out at
6:48pm to a reported structure fire on the Ratta
Road in Chazy Tuesday. It started out as a gas
cooking grill , which caught on fire, but than
the flames spread to the side of the house.
Chazy and West Chazy Firefighters arrived on
scene for a quick knockdown and saved the 4
apartment dwelling. Firefighters were on scene
for approx. 2 hours before returning to the

West Chazy, NY-
At midnight Clinton County 911 paged
out West Chazy Volunteers to a 1 car
roll over involving power lines on the
Oniel Road in West Chazy early Sunday
morning. Upon arrival first responders
noticed a small size truck that had
flipped taking out 2 power poles.
Firefighters worked to free the trapped
patient and transport to CVPH.
Beekmantown FD was called in to help
with traffic control. Volunteers were on
scene for 4 1/2 hours while NYSEG freed
up the live tension lines so Pilon's
Towing could take away the mangled
truck.

NY Every May the Fire
department invites the past members
to their monthly meeting which is
the Old Timers meeting. Stories of
the past and present are brought up
while a meal, prepared by the
firefighters is served up for the
past members. Pictured to the right
are the past members of the West
Chazy Vol Fire Department standing
in front of the Old Lafrance fire
truck.

West Chazy,
NY- West Chazy Volunteers were
toned out to a 1 car MVA at
the intersection of Ketchum Bridge
Road and Route 22 in West Chazy. The
driver of the vehicle was out
walking around upon firefighters
arrival. EMS 93 assessed the patient
while traffic on Route 22 was shut
down to 1 lane. Volunteers were back
in service shortly after. There were
no serious injuries .

West Chazy,
NY- Volunteers were
paged out to a reported structure
fire on the Slosson Road in West
Chazy Wednesday afternoon. Upon
firefighters arrival smoke was
billowing out of the house and could
be seen for miles. A quick knock
down contained the fire to the
kitchen area. Beekmantown Fire
Department provided mutual aide
while District 3 provided a standby.
No one was home at the time.
