West Chazy, NY - Volunteers
from the West Chazy Fire Dept
responded to a 1 car roll over Friday
morning. The driver was heading
southbound on state route 22 north of
sugerbush drive when she veered off
the roadway and flipped several times
before landing on her wheels. The
vehicle is a total loss. The female
driver was transported to cvph by EMS
92 where she is being treated for non
life threatening injuries.

Beekmantown NY - The West
Chazy Vol. Fire Dept
responded with Tanker 332,Squad
334, and Tanker 336 to a
fully involved structure fire at
384 Jersey Swamp Road Wednesday
morning. Beekmantown,
District 3 , West Chazy, Altona, Morrisonville,
Cumberland Head, and South
Plattsburgh were
toned out mutual aide. Fire
Damage was contained to the top
few bedrooms but the whole house
suffered water damage. Both dogs
were located and are in stable
condition.
Scene was turned over to Fire
Investigators and State Police.

Altona, NY -
The new year has turned out to be very
busy year for the West Chazy Fire
Dept. West Chazy firefighters along
with Beekmantown Fire dept and Chazy
and CVPH EMS responded to a 1 car
motor vehicle accident on the Atwood
Road in the town of Altona Wed
afternoon. The vehicle slid off
the road way striking several boulders
and then became airborne landing on
its side. Two critically injured
passengers in the vehicle had to be
extricated from the vehicle and were
transported to CVPH. Firefighters were
on the scene for approx 4 hours.

Chazy, NY- The West
Chazy Vol. Fire Dept responded with
Pumper 331,Squad
334, and Tanker 336 to a
reported structure fire at
Sample's Lawn and Garden. When
firefighters arrived the second
story apartment was filled with
smoke. Firefighters searched and
found the fire to be in back of
the stove. The stove was taken
out and the fire damage was contained to the
walls surrounding the stove. The
apartment suffered minimal
damage.
